Aquino for her democratic legacy, sterling public service and unparalleled contribution to Philippine history.’’
  • House Resolution 1299, sponsored by all House members led by Speaker Prospero Nograles. The measure hailed Mrs. Aquino as a "global icon of democracy for strengthening democracy and the rule of law in the Philippines."
  • Congressmen likewise adopted Nograles' House Resolution No. 1300, which extends the House's condolences to the Aquino family. Another resolution by Palawan Rep.
