Boston Pops 4th of July 2010 - Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular | Boston Pops 4th of July 2010
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is the nation's premier 4th of July celebration. It is proudly presented by Liberty Mutual. Here's a brief review about the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular as provided by their official website:
The event was founded in 1974 when David Mugar suggested to famed Boston Pops Conductor, Arthur Fiedler, that in order to revive the diminishing Esplanade concert series it might be a good idea to play Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” with a few extras. For the next Fourth of July, howitzer cannons, fireworks and church bells were added to the concert so that, in Arthur Fiedler’s own words, “All Hell could break loose.” For the first time, a July Fourth fireworks display took place over the Charles River.
And this year, the 37th Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular has already started with concerts but no fireworks on July 3rd. Here's the schedule of events for July 4th including the concerts and fireworks.
