Balloon Boy charges

Balloon Boy charges update (as of October 24): According to the latest reports, Mayumi Heene, mother of FalconHeene, the six-year-old balloon boy had admitted that the whole balloon saga was a hoax. Mayumi had told sheriff's deputies that she and her husband Richard Heene knew all along that their son was just hiding in the residence while the search and rescue was undergoing.

Well, they would definitely land in jail for causing so much trouble.

Balloon boy charges. - After all the commotion, it turned out that the "balloon boy" incident was a hoax and Richard Heene, father of the balloon boy may end up charged with felony.

The rumors of the whole incident being a hoax surfaced after Falcon told CNN Thursday night "we did it for the show."

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden said that Richard Heene and Mayumi Heene who met in acting school in Hollywood and have appeared on the ABC reality show "Wife Swap" have reportedly been working on a reality TV deal in Los Angeles. The sheriff added that investigators are examining the possibility of other conspirators, including the possibility that even some of the media outlets may have had some knowledge about this.

Well, this would be a hard time for the older Heenes. I think they didn't thought that the "show" would end up like this. They screwed because they let their kids into it. You know children will always be children. They would most of the time tell the truth when they are caught.

I think charges are appropriate. Say, the stunt temporarily shut down Denver International Airport and caused the National Guard to scramble two helicopters in an attempt to rescue the boy, who was believed to be inside the flying-saucer shaped homemade balloon that hurtled more than 50 miles across two counties. Imagine how much it did cost the government.

Colorado news - 6 year old kid in balloon

This is the Colorado news about the 6 year old kid in balloon. Unlike the 7-year old boy who carjacked his parents' car, ended being chased by a patrol car back home, Falcon Heene made headlines yesterday as he was thought to have floated with the giant air balloon.

It all started when the giant silvery balloon floated away from the Heene's yard Thursday morning, sparking a frantic rescue operation that involved military helicopters and briefly shut down Denver International Airport. The flying saucer-like craft tipped precariously at times before gliding to the ground in a field, the culmination of a two-hour, 50-mile journey through two counties. But with the child nowhere in sight, investigators searched the balloon's path. Several people reported seeing something fall from the craft while it was in the air, and yellow crime-scene tape was placed around the home.

But in the end, the boy apparently never left the home. The 6-year-old Falcon Heene was found hiding in a cardboard box in his family's garage attic Thursday after his father, Richard Heene, had scolded him for getting inside a compartment on the craft. Richard Heene said Falcon's brother had seen him inside the compartment before it took off and that's why they thought he was in there when it launched. But the boy fled to the attic at some point after the scolding and was never in the balloon during its journey.
"I yelled at him. I'm really sorry I yelled at him," Heene said as he hugged his son during a news conference.

"I was in the attic and he scared me because he yelled at me," Falcon said. "That's why I went in the attic."

It's greatly comforting the boy is safe.
