Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino admitted to having consensual sex with Karen Cunagin Sypher but denies raping her. According to the witness, Vinnie Tatum, Pitino's executive assistant, told the FBI that:
he didn't see what happened but heard "only the sounds of two people that seemed to be enjoying themselves during a sexual encounter."
It was known that Sypher accused Rick Pitino of the alleged crime after she was charged with extortion by a federal grand jury.
