Killing is a mortal sin as inscribed in the Old Testament's "The Ten Commandments". But it is also considerably monstrous to deny a fetus his right to life. Abortion is totally not the answer to to the issue of overpopulation, unwanted pregnancies, etcetera. To some, it might be a temporary solution but it is immoral.
