A possible Teodoro-Garcia tandem for 2010 presidential elections has been set up by the administration. After the final negotiations, the ruling Lakas-Kampi-CMD party is expected to hold its national convention on Nov. 12 in Cebu to formalize the selection of Sec. Gilberto Teodoro and his running mate for the 2010 elections.
There has been a rumor of possible Teodoro-Legarda tandem before, but since Legarda had already declared that she will still remain in the opposition despite her running for Vice-President, the tandem was not considered.
Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia is the present and first woman governor of Cebu. Born October 12, 1955, she is commonly known as Gwen. She was first elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2007.
