Pilipinas Got Talent Semifinalists - Jovit Baldivino (Carrie)

The first batch of "Pilipinas Got Talent" semifinalists had shown their all in their showdown last Saturday, May 1. Of the first batch of semifinalists, namely, Jovit Baldivino and Ruther Urquia of Luzon, Jhistine and Filemon Baguio and the Snap Boiz of Visayas, and the Xavier University Cultural Dance Troupe and Rolando Permangil of Mindanao, two were lucky enough to make it to the grand finals. Both are from Luzon, the ventriloquist Ruther Urquia and my bet siomai vendor Jovit Baldivino.

Watch Jovit Baldivino singing Europe's Carrie below:

And here's the full video with standing ovation from the judges:

Congratulations, Pareng Jovit! Keep it up....

Miley Cyrus Can't Be Tamed (Official Music Video)

After that controversial performance at the Teen Choice Awards 2009 where Miley Cyrus did pole dancing as she performed Party In The USA, here's comes Miley Cyrus Can't be Tamed Music Video. Different reactions were thrown regarding the performance of Miley Cyrus here. Well, I see some Britney Spears style. Here are some of the comments:

drklutz: I really can't wait for another few months, when Miley is pregnant and her career ends. She seriously tries too hard to be something she clearly isn't. Not pretty. Not talented. Not Lady Gaga/Beyonce/Britney/Rihanna.

buffilovesdisnyjonas: miley is amazing she is fixing to be 18 in novmber so theres NOTHING worng with the vidoe. parents need to just shut the fuck up about miley being a role model. because if they dont like the things there kids are seeing fucking tell them that is not right to do dont do that.

AllisonMarieChan: I think this song was better off sung by someone else, like Britney, Katy Perry, or Christina, Miley's voice doesn't fit. I think it has to do with the way she's best known as Hannah Montana, pop and supposedly supposed to be safe and good because she's with Disney. I can't take her seriously when she tries new things, like this. I just keep thinking Hannah Montana. I guess that's why people can easily view her as "slutty" since she made a jump from sparkly clothes to more revealing pieces.

Well, here's the Miley Cyrus Can't Be Tamed (Official Music Video). Is this the beginning of her career metamorphosis from a wholesome Hannah Montana to an adult sensual woman? What do you think?

Dell Lightning and Dell Thunder photos leaked

Here's the latest leak on mobile devices. Engadget has all the information on Dell's new Windows Phone 7 and Android devices. It's the Dell Lightning which runs on Windows Phone 7 OS and the Dell Thunder which runs on Google's Android operating system.

Dell Lightning:

The renders on these slides look slick as hell, but they're no match for the spec sheet, which looks even better: 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, WVGA 4.1-inch OLED display, AT&T and T-Mobile 3G, five megapixel autofocus camera, 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on a MicroSD card (non-user-replaceable, we're assuming), GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and full Flash support including video playback.

Dell Thunder:

According to Engadget, Lightning is Dell's answer to Windows Phone extravagance. Thunder runs on Android 2.1 and has a 4.1-inch WVGA OLED screen.

There's a heavily custom Dell "Stage" UI on top, which seems much different (and classier) than what we've seen on the Streak or Aero. It apparently ties into Facebook and Twitter for social networking, and taps Swype for a touchscreen keyboard replacement, along with grabbing just a pinch of HTC's Sense good looks. Dell's document also claims this has Flash 10.1 for watching web videos, along with a mention of an "integrated web video Hulu app." We're not sure how that works, but hopefully it's everything we ever dreamed mobile Hulu could be. Under the hood we'd guess there's the same Snapdragon chip that's powering the Lightning, but we don't have specific specs. There is supposed to be an 8 megapixel camera, however, and the phone will be sold in AT&T and world-friendly HSDPA versions around Q4 of this year, with an LTE model to follow near the end of 2011.

Ndamukong Suh - 2010 NFL Draft

Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh has been drafted No. 2 overall by the Detroit Lions. The 6-foot-4, 307-pound Ndamukong Suh becomes the first defensive tackle to be drafted among the top two picks in the 2010 NFL draft since Oakland took Darrell Russell in 1997. He was also the first defensive player to win The Associated Press College Football Player of the Year award.

A potential blue-chip defensive lineman who can dominate vs. the run game and knows how to reach the passer. The new cornerstone of the Lions defense.

Volcano in Iceland - Eruption photos

Volcano in Iceland - Eruption photos: Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull (ay-yah-FYAH'-plah-yer-kuh-duhl) glacier that began erupting Wednesday for the second time in less than a month is causing flight restrictions.

According to AP reports, flights around the world have been canceled and passengers were stranded as the ash cloud affected the operations at some of the world's busiest airports, including London's Heathrow. It is expected that disruptions will continue until today.

But despite the dangerous amounts of volcanic ash in the sky which could cause huge headaches for the travelers, Mother Nature has its way of showing its beauty. Check out these Volcano in Iceland - Eruption photos from Flickr.
