American Idol 2012 Top 9 Finalists Performances Recap


The American Idol 2012 Top 9 finalists performed songs from their own musical idols. In between their solo performances, the finalists which were grouped into trios perform medleys of the songs of Stevie Nicks, Michael Jackson and Madonna. DeAndre Brackensick, Joshua Ledet and Heejun Han sang a medley of MJ's hits, during which Joshua did the late King of Pop's iconic moonwalk dance. Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine and Jessica Sanchez were honored to sing a Madge medley, belting out "Like a Prayer", "Borderline" and "Express Yourself". Colton Dixon, Elise Testone and Phillip Phillips teamed up to do a medley of Nicks' classics, including "Landslide" and "Edge of Seventeen".

Earth Hour 2012 Lights Off

Earth Hour 2012 Lights Off. On March 31, lights around the world will be switched off for 60 minutes in support of the annual international event organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the International Earth Hour. The challenge of Earth Hour 2012 is to create awareness among the public to dare the world to save our only planet. In honour of the Earth Hour, businesses, individuals and governments will switch off their lights, including those on some of the world’s most famous monuments, for 60 minutes. Numerous public events will be held to mark Earth Hour among the 135 countries taking part in the event in the campaign for energy efficiency, renewable energy and climate adaptation.

In the Philippines, three sites are declared as official switch-off sites of Earth Hour 2012. These locations will be Makati, Cebu and Davao.

Bobby Brown Arrested For DUI Failed Four Sobriety Tests
Bobby Brown, 43-year-old R&B star and former husband of the late Whitney Houston was arrested for driving under the influence Monday, March 26, around 12:20pm local time in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Harris said Brown was pulled over after another officer saw him talking on his cellphone without a hands-free unit and noticed he appeared to be impaired, The Telegraph reported.

Police have confirmed Brown was drunk at the time of his arrest and failed four sobriety tests prior to his arrest. The singer was later released from Van Nuys jail after posting $5,000 bail.
