43rd CMA Awards 2009

The 43rd CMA Awards 2009 is broadcast live November 11th from Nashville's Sommet Center. The biggest night of the country music starts at exactly 8PM with hosts country superstar Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. The winners of the CMA Awards 2009 will come from twelve different categories: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Vocal Duo of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of The Year, Music Video of the Year, and Musician of the Year.

The 43rd CMA Awards 2009 will be filled with live performances from among the country's biggest country music stars. They are:

Taylor Swift opens the show with her "Forever & Always" and is said to have a second song prepared for later in the night.

CMA co-host Brad takes the telecast into the future with his "Welcome to the Future". His co-host Carrie Underwood is scheduled to perform her current No. 1 hit, "Cowboy Casanova".

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney teams up with Dave Matthews for "I'm Alive".

Vince Gill and the rock band Daughtry will perform "Tennessee Line".

Top Female Vocalist nominee Reba McEntire will perform her current single, "Consider Me Gone," while Top Male Vocalist and Best New Artist nominee Darius Rucker will sing his recent chart topper, "Alright."

Keith Urban slows it down with "Til Summer Comes Around" his brand-new single from "Defying Gravity", and Tim McGraw will pick it up with the title track of his latest album, "Southern Voice".

Lady Antebellum will perform their current Top 3 hit, "Need You Now", while Sugarland brings in "Keep You".

Jason Aldean and his band are scheduled to perform his recent multi-week No. 1 song, "Big Green Tractor", and Billy Currington will sing "People Are Crazy".

Brooks & Dunn are reportedly hooking up with ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons to perform their single, "Honky Tonk Stomp".

Jamey Johnson and Kid Rock will take to the stage for a duet on the song "Between Jennings and Jones", while Miranda Lambert will turn in a rendition of her current single, "White Liar".

Other performers include Martina McBride, George Strait and the Zac Brown Band.
