Billy Bell's illness which is still undisclosed by his family, had caused this 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Loxahatchee Groves, Florida and a current New York’s prestigious Julliard School student to be forced out of the competition on So You Think You Can Dance. If Bell wasn't forced out, that Tuesday's episode (October 27th) will be his very first appearance in the Top 20 of the show’s 6th season.

Billy Bell - So You Think You Can Dance Season 6
According to a report from The Palm Beach Post, Billy Bell had to drop out of the competition Monday after being hospitalized.
Although he was released from the hospital Monday and is no longer considered contagious, he was advised to drop out during his four- to six-week recovery period because, “when you have mono, your spleen is enlarged. If you dance, your spleen comes out from the bottom of your ribs – you obviously move your ribs – and you don’t want to do physical activity because you don’t want your spleen to rupture,” Bell said.
But despite this sad news, Bell is hoping he'll be able to apply again for So You Think You Can Dance and be there on its Season 7.

Brandon Dumlao, a 21-year-old hip-hop dancer from Concord, California, will fill the Top 20 slot left vacant by Bell’s departure.
