Keith Hennessey

Keith Hennessey was a top economic advisor during the Bush administration. He joined the White House in 2002 and became director of the National Economic Council in November 2007. He had watched how the Lehman Brothers collapsed and the United States descend into the worst recession since World War II.

After leaving the White House, Keith Hennessey has used his policy expertise and popular website to analyze and criticize Congress and the Obama administration. Recently, Hennessey blogged on his website fishy statements about health care reform made by Dr. Douglas Elmendorf and his “Congressional Budget Office.”
