Life is getting very tough these times that even robbers are so determined to operate in broad daylight just to find means for their survival at the expense of others.
HAPPY VALLEY, Ore. - Two men forced their way into a Happy Valley woman's home, held a knife to her throat and robbed her in broad daylight Wednesday while she was babysitting a young child, authorities said.

The crime occurred about 11:15 a.m. at a home in the 14800 block of S.E. Natalya Street, according to Detective Jim Strovink, a Clackamas County Sheriff's Office spokesman. Julie Anne Ackerman told KATU she responded to a knock at the door and found two men asking if they could come inside to use the phone to call for help after their car broke down.

When the 38-year-old woman told them she'd bring the phone out to them, they forced their way inside and one of them pushed her up against a wall in the hallway, she said. "(He) put the knife to my throat and said, 'You scream, you yell, I slit your throat,'
But whatever are their reasons for this crime, I think these evil people should be stopped.
