The Ford Supermodel of the World 2011 title goes to Danica Flores Magpantay, a 17-year-old Filipina Fine Arts student from University of the Philippines, who stands 5’9" and weighs 109 lbs. From among the many models from over 50 countries who joined this international modeling contest, Danica is named Ford Supermodel of the World 2011 on Saturday in New York, thus bagging a $250,000.00 modeling contract.
Danica's mother Milagros ‘Lala’ Flores was once named Ford Supermodel of the World-Philippines 1980. Last October 2010, Danica won the same title her mother got 20 years ago.
